Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year

Dear Parker Families,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you back to Parker Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year. I hope you have had a relaxing and fun-filled summer.

This year promises to be one of new and exciting possibilities and opportunities! It has been wonderful seeing so many of you before the school year even begins. 

I know the students are excited to find out who their teachers will be for the upcoming year. Class lists will be posted on the front windows of Parker on Friday, August 30 after 3 p.m. 

The first day of school is Tuesday, September 3, at 8:15 a.m. The students will line up in the front of the building. Please look for your child's teacher's name on the sidewalk. The school day ends at 3 p.m. If your child needs to be picked up after 3 p.m. please sign your child up for latchkey. Latchkey paperwork is available in the front office. Please do not park in the horseshoe driveway in front of the school building. Please park in the back parking lot to walk your children to their line on the first day of school.

Meet the Teacher Night is on Thursday, September 5, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. I will start the evening by meeting with you in our library. Afterward, I will release you to your child’s classroom to meet with the teacher. We hope that you will join us that evening! 

I look forward to another great year working with you and your children at Parker. Together we will create learners and leaders in our school and community!
